There is good news for those who missed out on the DDA lottery in housing scheme 2014. The Delhi Development Authority plans to launch a massive scheme for over 50000 flats in various areas of Delhi in the new year. This scheme is expected to be the largest housing scheme by DDA.
Flats on offer in DDA Scheme 2016 – no details have been provided by DDA yet but the flats are expected to be slightly bigger than the ones offered in the 2014 scheme. Further, since a large of allottees of one bedroom flats in the 2014 scheme had returned their flats owing to small size, DDA is likely to re-offer these flats as part of the new scheme. Majority of the flats on offer are expected to be one bedroom and two bedroom flats. There may also be some three bedroom flats on offer.
Date of application and draw – Dates of application are not announced as yet. Forms expected in March 2016.
Availability of forms - Form will be available at branches of leading banks in Delhi and nearby areas. Applicants may also apply online and pay the registration amount online through payment gateway.
Eligibility - all Indian citizens above the age of 18 who, together with their spouse, do not own a house and have not been allotted any house by DDA or any other land owing agency or societies to whom land has been allotted by DDA, may be eligible to apply under the scheme.
